On a National Level the Vibration Institute offers a wide resource of programs. The objective of the Vibration Institute's program is to create an atmosphere that stimulates the exchange of information about vibration. The program has grown considerably in recent years. The Annual Meeting features consecutive workshops at both basic and advanced levels. Technical paper sessions and panel sessions are scheduled. The Instrumentation Show typically attracts about 40 exhibitors.

Short Courses are an integral part of the institute's program of information transfer. A Short Course Catalog is published each year including.

  • Machinery Vibration Analysis III A & B
  • Balancing and Alignment of Machinery

 

 
 

Full time students are welcome at any Institute-sponsored meeting or short course for the cost of materials and any luncheons desired.

On Site Courses pertaining to specific vibration technology are tailored to meet company needs. Contact the institute for details.

Publications:
Institute offers a wide range of Publications including 4 quarterly issues of "Vibration" featuring technical articles, chapter information, courses and book reviews. There is an extensive list of books, proceedings, and mini-courses available for purchase. Our local chapter is in the process of establishing a technical library. This will be available at no charge to its members. It will include references books, courses and videos.
